In The Shadow Of Sirius – Jennifer Murphy
On the 12th of October, 2019 in the autumn art season, an ambitious solo exhibition by Canadian artist Jennifer Murphy opened.
This is her fourth show with the gallery and is particularly notable for the scale of the new works. Throughout her career Murphy has sought to evoke the plenitude, wonder and interconnected web of relationships that make up the natural world. She has become known for collaging together, with a gossamer thread and bottomless patience, images of a bountiful flora and fauna that seems to harken from a bygone era, each one built up of smaller images that coalesce into a larger whole, be it an egret worthy of (or based upon) James Audubon, or a towering flower that dwarfs the viewer.

Winners of Nikon Small World 2019 – Microscopic photography
Nikon has announced the winners of the 2019 Small World Photomicrography competition, which invites photographers and scientists to present images of all objects visible under the microscope. This year, Teresa Zgoda and Teresa Kugler were in first place for their tortuous embryo-tortoise image, using a light and strenuous microscope. There were more than 2,000 entries from 100 countries for 2019, showing you the winning images in the competition

Surrealist Dreamlands – yomagick
The main inspiration for this project comes from his travel to Asia, particularly Japan – Itsukushima Shrine. yomagick designer was very astonished by the idea of the Shrine placed in the middle of a beautiful landscape.
After his travel he decided to move to Barcelona where he also found a lot of inspiration in works of Salvador Dali and Joan Miro.
It’s his first project that is entirely made in 3d without any post-production.
Animal Eyes Beautiful Eeyes – Suren Manvelyan
Suren Manvelyan started to photograph when he was sixteen and became a professional photographer in 2006. His photographic interests span from Macro to Portraits, Creative photo projects, Landscape, and much more. Suren’s photos have been published in numerous magazines and newspapers in Armenia and worldwide.
His latest popular series of close ups of a human eye – entitled “Your beautiful eyes,” together with a similar series on “Animal eyes,” have had millions of views on the Web. They were published by National Geographic, Yahoo!, Die Zeit, The Sun, Daily Mail, The Independent, Telegraph, La Republica, Liberation, Guardian, Wired, Huffington Post, Wedemain, The Shortlist, DT Magazine, MAXIM, and many others. The photos were also used by BBC Spain, BBC Brasil, WNYC, Gizmondo and many others.
In parallel to photography, for the past ten years Suren has also enjoyed teaching physics, mathematics, projective geometry and astronomy at the Yerevan Waldorf School. From 1997 to 2011 he served as a scientific researcher at the Institute for Physical Research of National Academy of Sciences.
